Tap Monitoring on the reception/monitoring terminal to view the current competition status and heats. For paperless operation, it is efficient to set “Settings”->”PDF Settings”->”Number of sheets” to 1 for only moderator and 0 for others. Also, when you select a section, you can see the result and next heat.

1. Changed the selection of the final ranking for the judges’ terminals from a drop-down select form to a drag-drop system.
2. A monitoring function is added to the receptionist to monitor the progress of the competition from up to 6 terminals. Heat paper of the progression competition is displayed. This allows paperless competition progression. When a section is selected, the results and the next heat can be viewed.

• The number of screens has been consolidated to make it more user-friendly.
• Asynchronous processing between judges’ terminals and the database during scoring makes the system more resistant to network failures.
• Manual input mode for scoring has been introduced. In the trial version, judges’ terminals are not available, and only manual input mode is available. In the regular version, you can switch between manual input mode and judge’s terminal mode during judging.
• The previous trial version only allowed single judging, but with this update, the trial version now supports multiple judging.

The Receptionists & Monitoring account can be logged in without a password. This feature is useful, for example, when receptionists & monitoring user’s use their own devices.

Judges’ terminals can be logged in without a password.

1. Login with QR Code : Use if you have a terminal at hand. You can use a fictitious email address for the judge data. Log in by displaying and reading the QR code with the QR code reading application on your terminal. If you wish to log in using a method other than this, please refer to section 2 or later. While general QR code reading apps can be used, the following apps have been prepared for this system. We have eliminated the share button and added a lock button so that you can concentrate on screening.

４．Reception terminal operation

1. When you start the reception terminal, you will be asked for permission to access the camera.
2. The QR code is scanned with the camera, and the player code is displayed in the “Code” field. Manual input is also possible. Press the “Submit” button.
3. Number will be displayed and you will be accepted.
4. If you check on the “Reception List“, * marks will be added to those already accepted.

５．Confirmation on the management screen

You can also view the “Reception List” on the Administration page. It can also be viewed on the “1st Paper” screen in the “Dealing with missing No. && Changing entry & up” section.

６．At the end of reception

After all the receptions have been accepted, in the “Dealing with missing No. && Changing entry & up” section of the “1st Paper” screen, check the numbers that have not been accepted and click the “Save Changes & Check reception status” button to process the missing numbers.

• When the scoring has been entered and the scores have been tabulated, the progression number in the timetable will automatically advance by one. Also, the “Next” button will appear. Press this button to move to the next competition.
• CALL Adjustment: Due to the change in the number of ups, the number of CALLs in the next round is changed and recal culated, and the results are re created.
• Leave: Process in case of missing number due to retire or defeat play off : Adjust the number of retire’s and ups for the next round. Check the leave and press the “Leave” button. The ups can be specified at the sa me time. If you want to undo the operation due to an operation error, etc., recreate it with “CALL Adjustment” to reset it.
• Result PDF: The results of that round are displayed in PDF.
• Next round heat paper PDF: PDFs of the next round’s heat papers for bulletin, players, storage, and moderator will be displayed.
• Next round judge paper PDF: A PDF of the Judge’s Paper for each judge in the next round will be displayed.
• All result PDF: View all results to latest round from the first round in PDF.
• Result PDF for Moderator: A PDF with the rank, number, name and place will be displayed during the final results.
• Result CSV for Award: At the time of the final results, a CSV file is generated with the section, rank, number, name, place, competition name, holding date , organizer, and presenter, and a “Result CSV for Award” download link button is displayed.

A sample video is shown below. The “Judge account Tablet” cannot be used in the trial version. Instead, a manual input screen will appear on the “Summary account PC”. The screen at the time of judging summary is in 8x speed, and the other screens are in 2x speed.

  • Logout impossible : If checked, logout is not possible. This is to prevent accidental operation.
  • Manual input : If checked, allows manual input, unchecked the box allows input from the judge’s terminal. The default is manual input. The unchecked will be enabled by using paid option.
• Competition : Enter the name of the tournament.
• Maximum number of entries in heat : Maximum number of entries per heat. If this value is exceeded, a warning will be issued.
• Alias for the ranking display(can be set up to 8th) : Alias for display ranking up to 8 aliases can be set.
• Type : Add a competition type. Use 1 letter only. This is linked to the type in the timetable. Also specify the color of the bib number.
• Category : Add a c ategory. Use 1 letter only. This is linked to the category in the timetable.
• PDF Settings : Specify the number of printed pages print orientation, paper size, margin, and font for PDF creation.

1.About data

There are three types of original data.

• Timetable
• Judge
• Player

2.Create judge data

First, create the judge data.

• Column A (Group): Enter the group using only 1 letter. This data islinked to the judge in the timetable.
• Column B (Number): Enter the judge number.
• Column C (Judge): Enter the name of the judge. It must match the judge number.
• Column D (Terminal): Enter terminals in sequential order. Upper limit is 93. It is automatically associated with the login account in the management screen “Judge”.
• Column E (Mail): Enter the email address that corresponds to the judges when they use their own terminals. This is for a Password Less Login to the judges’ terminal. We will send you a magic link to login to that address.

3.Create timetable data

Next, create a timetable.

• Column A (Competition Number): Enternumbers in sequential order. No.1 must be the first competition. The intermediate breaks and awards ceremony can also be included.
• Column B (Time): Enter the starting time.
• Column C (Judge): Enter the group and name of the judges. This data islinked to the judge in the management screen. In addition, the management screentimetables will only show the rows existthis data.
• Column D (Section): Enter the competition name. Since this name is used for identification, please make sureit is written with identical character strings for each round.
• Column E (Type): Enter whether the competition isamateur or professional using only 1 letter. This isused for identification when displaying the allresultand is linked to the type of competitionin the management screen. You can register types of competitionsother than the default ones from the management screen.
• Column F (Round): Enter the round.
• Column G (Entry): Enter the number of competitors.
• Column H (H): Enter the heat number.
• Column I (UP): Enter the up number.
• Column J (Musics): Enter the number of musics.
• Column K (Category): Enter the order of the competitions using one letter for each category. This islinked to the categoryin the management screen. You can register categories other than the default ones from the management screen.
• Column L (Interval): Enter the intervals.

4.Create player data

Finally, create player data for each section. In the following examples 5-11 creates player data for the “Amateur Latin” section.

• Column A (No.):Enter the competitor number.
• Column B (Seed):If a competitoris seeded, enter their starting timetable competition number. This islinked to the timetable. If a competitoris not seeded, leave blank.
• Column C (Code1):If a competitor hasan association code, you can enter it. This is not required for the system. It can be used for other purposes.
• Column D (Code2): This is not required for the system. It can be used for other purposes.
• Column E (Name1):Enter the full name of the competitor.
• Column F (Pronunciation1):Enter the pronunciation for Name1. This is not required for the system.
• Column G (Name2):Enter the full name of the competitor.
• Column H (Pronunciation2):Enter the pronunciation for Name2. This is not required for the system.
• Column I (Place):Enterthebelongs. Prefecture names are used in the sample data, so please change accordingly.
• Column J (Competition):Enter the competition section. This column is not read as data but used as a filter when generating data. Please paste it onto a separate sheet and create a CSV file. At that time, heading row is not necessary.

Article 2 Definitions

Terms used in these terms of use shall be defined as follows, unless noted otherwise elsewhere.

9. Confidential Information: personal information, client information, corporation information, and all other applicable information
10. Anti-Social Forces: crime syndicates, members of crime syndicates, persons who ceased being members of crime syndicates within five years or fewer of the present date, associate members of crime syndicates, firms associated with crime syndicates, extortionists, political racketeering organizations, special organized crime syndicates, or other persons or entities equivalent to the same

Article 3 Service details

1. The Service is a scoring system for use at Ballroom Dancing competitions.
2. The features of the Service are as follows.
   1. Scoring is performed by a computer and tablet device connected to the Service server via the Internet.
   2. The Service requires an Internet connection.
   3. Scoring and tabulation (aggregation) is performed on a web browser (Firefox, Chrome, etcetera) and is platform-agnostic.
   4. The Service operates on high-speed servers with 99% uptime.
   5. Data is imported in CSV format. CSV files can be created using Microsoft Excel. Output data is generated in PDF format.
   6. The scoring system employed is one in general use for ballroom dance competitions. Qualifications are scored per the check methodology, and finals are scored per the ranking methodology. The final ranking is decided based on the skating system.
   7. Languages supported English & Japanese.
   8. For other details, please refer to the Site.

Article 4 Registration

1. Users must register to make use of the Service.
2. A prospective Registrant files for Registration by providing a login name, password, e-mail address, and other information stipulated by the Operator and doing so by the means the Operator specifies. Falsified applications shall not be accepted.
3. Where there is a change to any details previously filed by a Registrant, the Registrant shall update that information accordingly by methods stipulated by the Operator. The Operator waives all liability for damages sustained by a Registrant due to failure to make the change above.
4. Where the Operator finds that any of the below apply to a Registrant, the Operator may revoke the Registrant’s account.
   1. Where not meeting the Registration screening criteria stipulated by the Operator;
   2. Where the user is a minor, an adult ward, or person subject to legal conservatorship or limited guardianship and has not obtained the consent of a legal representative, guardian, or conservator;
   3. Where the contents of the filing for Registration were falsified;
   4. Other conditions for which the Operator deems approval of the Registrant unsuitable.
5. Where revoking an account per the above, the Operator bears no duty to disclose the reason to the Registrant.

Article 5 Usage

1. Upon Registration, a Registrant’s account becomes an aggregation account. Accounts are usable for a period of six days, after which they are automatically deleted.
2. A single aggregation account is tied to judge accounts, represented by the number of devices. The judging account is paid for. In the free version, you can manually enter your judging results on the aggregate account.
3. Judge accounts are added automatically and a notification of the same is sent to the aggregation account.
4. The paid service are listed on the Site.
5. Purchase a license key in the dedicated shop and enter the license key to use all functions.
6. Payment shall be made by Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay. For payments made by Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Registrant credit card data is not disclosed to the Operator.
7. The Operator shall bear no duty to return fees once paid, no matter the circumstances.
8. Data can be created in Microsoft Excel or other similar spreadsheet software. The requirement is that the data can be exported in CSV format. The output character code is UTF-8.
9. Specific instructions for use of the Service are listed on the Site.
10. Registrants shall use the Service in compliance with these Terms and with the Civil Code, Commercial Code, Act on the Protection of Personal Information, Copyright Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.
11. Registrants bear full liability for use of the Service. The Operator shall bear no liability for use by users, excluding cases specifically stipulated otherwise.

Article 6 Restrictions

1. Registrants shall not engage in any of the acts below.
   1. Violation of these Terms;
   2. Illegal acts or those likely to violate laws;
   3. Infringing on or promoting the infringement on the rights of third parties;
   4. Acts the Operator deems interfere with the Service and/or servers on which it operates;
   5. Acts that violate public order and morals;
   6. Acts contributing to Anti-Social Forces;
   7. Other acts the Company deems inappropriate.
2. Where the Operator finds any of the above prohibited conduct to have been engaged in by a Registrant, or deems said conduct to have been engaged in, the Operator reserves to, at its sole discretion, suspend or halt provision of the Service to the Registrant, revoke the Registrant’s account, and/or delete the applicable data from the server. The Operator waives all liability for damages to the Registrant per the above.

Article 7 Registrant liability

1. Registrants bear sole liability for use of the Service (including but not limited to entry of names of athletes and judges and other procedures, applying mutatis mutandis below), and makes warranty to the Operator that the rights used by the Registrant on the Service do not infringe on the Intellectual Property Rights of third parties, or on other rights.
2. The terms above notwithstanding, in the event of issues arising from use of the Service by a Registrant, the Registrant shall resolve the issue at its sole expense and discretion, with the Operator bearing no liability.
3. Registrants are solely responsible for obtaining backups of data used by them on the Service. The Operator waives all liability for loss of data due to failure to perform backups.
4. Where a Registrant causes damages to the Operator from use of the Service, the Registrant shall be liable for compensation (including applicable attorney’s fees).
5. Where a Registrant causes damages to a third party through use of the Service, the Registrant shall compensate the third party at the Registrant’s sole expense and liability, with the Operator bearing no liability. In said case, where the Operator is subject to a claim for damages from a third party, the Registrant shall compensate the Operator for said damages (including applicable attorney’s fees).

Article 8 Disclaimers

1. The Operator makes no warranty that Registrants obtain particular effects or benefits from use of the Service.
2. The Operator makes no warranty that saving data created on the Service, accessing the Service, and/or use of the Service will not subject one to viruses or other malware. Registrants must use the site at their sole discretion and risk.
3. The Operator waives all liability for disputes or issues arising between Registrants on the Service, or between Registrants and third parties (competitors, et cetera).
4. The Operator waives liability for damages for causes not imputable to the Operator, including but not limited to force majeure and damages due to special circumstances, irrespective of whether the Operator could have predicted them, incidental damages, and loss of profit.

Article 9 Intellectual Property Rights

Intellectual Property Rights pertaining to the Site and Service vest with the Operator or the respective third party with legitimate rights thereto. Registrants must observe the Service usage rules so as to not infringe on the rights of other Registrants, the Operator, and third parties.

Article 10 Service suspension, halt, change, and termination

1. Where the Operator deems it necessary for the installation of equipment for operation of the Service, for system maintenance, or where due to natural disasters or force majeure, the Operator reserves the right to temporarily suspend or halt the Service without prior notification to or consent from Registrants.
2. The Operator reserves the right to change or terminate the service, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion and by notifying Registrants in advance of said action.
3. The Operator shall bear no liability for damages sustained by the Registrant per clause 2 above.

Article 11 Revocation of registration

1. Where any of the below apply to a Registrant, the Operator reserves the right to revoke the Registrant’s account without prior notice.
   1. Where the Registrant provided false information at the time of registration, or other circumstances under which the Registrant should not have been approved;
   2. Where there was serious negligence or betrayal;
   3. Where payment is suspended, or where the party is subject to provisional seizure, seizure, auction, bankruptcy proceedings, civil rehabilitation proceedings, corporate rehabilitation proceedings, or special liquidation proceedings;
   4. Where suspended from trading by a clearing house;
   5. Where in arrears on public taxes;
   6. Other serious incidents equivalent to the above for which continuation of these Terms or other agreements would be deemed difficult.
2. Where a Registrant violates any other article or clause of these Terms other than those preceding and the Operator notifies the Registrant with due consideration of time, but the Registrant does not correct the default on debt, the Operator reserves the right to revoke the Registrant’s account.
3. Where any of the items in Clause 1 apply, the Registrant forfeits the benefit of time for payment of monetary liabilities to the Operator, even where no advance notice was given, and shall pay said liabilities immediately.
4. Users seeking to re-register after a previous revocation must re-apply. Users acknowledge that past data shall not be carried over after completion of re-registration procedures.

Article 12 Non-disclosure

The Operator and Registrant shall maintain with due care confidential information disclosed and/or provided by the other party through use of the Service and, except where prior written consent was given by the other party, not use said information for purposes other than use of the Service, and not disclose or provide it to third parties.

Article 13 Collection and analysis of Registrant data

1. The Operator may make use of Registrant data that includes but is not limited to registration data and device data, doing so in a format by which the individual cannot be identified and for the purposes of statistical analysis or use on other services, or provision to third parties.
2. The Operator makes use of cookies and other information collection modules to collect information on the Service and ascertain its usage status. For details on these information collection modules, please see the terms of use and privacy policies of their respective providers.
3. The Operator waives all liability for damages caused by use of cookies and other information collection modules.

Article 14 Rejection of anti-social forces

1. The Operator and Registrants make warranty herein that none of the items below apply now or will apply in the future to them.
   1. The party is an Anti-Social Force;
   2. Anti-Social Forces control the management of the party’s business;
   3. Anti-Social Forces substantively contribute to the management of the party’s business;
   4. The party unlawfully uses Anti-Social Forces, such as for the unauthorized profit of oneself, one’s company, or third parties, or to cause damages to a third party;
   5. The party provides funding to a Anti-Social Forces or found to be contributing to it, such as through providing benefits or favors;
   6. The officers or other parties substantively contributing to the management of the business engage with Anti-Social Forces or other censured groups;
   7. The party makes violent demands or uses threatening behavior, makes unreasonable demands beyond legal obligation, disseminates rumors, and/or discredits or disturbs the business of third parties, through deceptive methods and/or influence, irrespective of whether oneself or through third parties.
2. Where a party to these Terms discovers that the other party has violated any of the representations and warranties above, the former party reserves the right to immediately terminate this agreement with no prior notice and seek compensation for damages sustained.

Article 15 Transfer of rights or position

The Operator and Registrant shall not transfer, sublease, pledge, or otherwise dispose of their rights and duties on and of the Service without the consent of the other party.

Article 16 Dispute resolution

In the event of issues concerning the interpretation of, or disputes over, these Terms or matters not stipulated herein, both parties shall collaborate in good faith in order to immediately resolve the issue.

Article 17 Jurisdiction

Litigation between the Operator and Registrant shall be adjudicated at the district court or summary court with jurisdiction over the area in which the Operator is headquartered acting as the exclusive court of first instance.

Article 18 Governing law

The interpretation of these terms shall be per the law of Japan.

• A user account is created for one email address. This account will be used for tallying and can be used for 6 days.

Competition

• During Competition (Tallying)
  • The tallying computer operator should generally keep the progress screen open. It automatically collects data and refreshes every 0.5 seconds.
  • Data for the next round and a PDF file of the results are automatically generated.
  • If there is a competition that needs to be skipped, change the competition number on the Timetable screen then return to the progress screen.
  • After the finals, a CSV file that can be used for making certificates is generated.
• Competition (Judges)
  • Judges should remain logged in on their tablets for the duration of the competition. Press the Switching button at the end of each round to move to the next round. Do not use the refresh or back buttons on the browser.
